Due to ice creating dangerous conditions on roads and footpaths, we have not been able to complete all waste and recycling bin collections due on 7 January 2026.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
Where safe to do so, residents are advised to leave their bin out until it has been emptied.
Dean Ford, Regional Director for Veolia Sheffield, said: “Ice can lead to unsafe conditions on roads and footpaths, making it difficult for our crews to empty bins. We must always prioritise the safety of our colleagues and the community, and in some circumstances, this can mean unavoidable delays to bin collections.”
