Snow and ice may affect your bin collection
Sheffield City Council and Veolia are advising residents that due to snow and ice, they were unable to complete all bin collections yesterday (8 February).
Additional crews are working today to recover any collections that have not taken place. However, if conditions mean that they cannot recover all collections today, please continue to leave your bin out.
All five Household Waste Recycling Centres are open as normal, from 9.30am until 3.30pm. Residents are advised to check site opening days before visiting.
The council and Veolia thank residents for their patience and understanding whilst essential measures were taken to ensure the safety of staff and the community.
