Douglas Road HWRC temporary closure due to road works on Tuesday 10th October
Veolia and Sheffield City Council would like to inform residents of the temporary closure of Douglas Road Household Waste Recycling Centre on Tuesday 10th of October.
This is due to the resurfacing of Longely Avenue West, which means access to the site will be completely restricted.
Veolia and Sheffield City Council apologise for any inconvenience caused by the temporary closure and ask residents to use the alternative sites that will be open.
To help minimise the impact of the closure, Deepcar HWRC, Manchester Road, S36 2DT, will now be open as well as the sites at Blackstock Road, Gleadless, S14 1FY, and High Green, Greaves Lane, S35 4GR.
